I have been waiting with great excitement as this cookbook came in the mail. Today was the day that it arrived in my letterbox and it is everything that l expected. I have been following the author Danielle Walker on facebook and her recipes are so wonderful and fit in perfectly with the Paleo eating diet that l follow. If l was going to write a cook book then it would be very similar to this one and when l flick through the pages l feel a sense of familiarity that another person could so closely mirror the healing diet that supports my wellness journey, but present it in such abundance. This is a recipe book for the whole family and there are lots of tips about starting out on the Paleo diet, stocking the pantry and sourcing the best quality foods. There are over 150 recipes which are gluten-free, grain-free and dairy free but when l look through the recipes l can immediately relate to the ingredients such as apple cider vinegar, almond flour, coconut oil, fresh herbs and spices along with a vast selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs and meat. This is a cook book for those of you who love cooking and want to create beautiful meals for yourself and family. For those of us who choose to follow this way of life it opens up a whole new world of culinary options and I will be working my way through these recipes with great joy and excitement.
